Water Damage in Bethpage

The leak in the adjacent bathroom to this Bethpage hallway occurred when the house was unoccupied. Several days of soaking the older carpet resulted in delamination of the covering and the need for removal. The Before Photo shows the area affected by the water leak. SERVPRO arrived, inspected, and removed the carpet as illustrated in the After Photo upon approval by th insurance carrier. We mitigated the damage to the walls, baseboard, and trim work with quick moisture extraction. The concrete pad has been dried with air movers, and a dehumidifier over several days. A new tack strip was nailed to the floor in preparation for a new piece of carpet, restoring the water damaged home to its preloss condition, "Like it never even happened."
